First and foremost before you cease reading, you should know that most people cannot tell the difference, physically, between LCD and plasma TVs. Most people can tell the difference immediately between a standard cathode-ray television and a flat screen television. The difference is in the size, but it is more than just the size of the screen. If a television is bulky, then chances are pretty high that it is a cathode-ray tv set. Without getting really technical, the inside of the cathode-ray screen resembles a glass science beaker laid on its side. The wide end is the part that you watch and electrons are funneled from the narrow end.
The main difference in LCD and plasma TVs is in how the picture is made. Plasma and LCD televisions both have exceptional quality. In the plasma, two sheets of glass are placed together and gas is pumped between the two. The particles are charged and give off green, red and blue phosphors. The phosphors make pixels which make up the picture. An LCD is two sheets of glass, but has liquid crystal instead. Rather than charging the particles, the crystal cells filter the colors.
So, which of the two are better? That is a matter of opinion but plasma flat screen televisions do suffer from excessive heat if left on too long and can have what is called a "screen burn." A screen burn occurs when a static image is left on the screen for a long time and remains even when you change the channel. This can also easily happen with computer monitors.
LCD and plasma TVs are probably still considered much better than their predecessors. They are much slimmer and are generally preferred because they take up less space. They can even be hung on walls with the proper mounting equipment and brackets, or you can purchase LCD and plasma tv stands. If you decide to buy a plasma or LCD television, then compare the differences and then decide for yourself.
That big television you have in your living room was once the most popular television type for its time. Well...times have changed and its high time you changed with them. A plasma TV is the way to go now for great picture quality and sound. The price may be a little steep but you can still find great deals on plasma television for under five hundred dollars. That is how much you probably paid for that big black box you currently call a TV. LCD wall mounts are becoming much more popular and available as the sales of LCDs continue to grow. They can be found both online and offline and come in a variety of sizes and price ranges. You can get more information about lcd brackets which I Browsed on the internet.
Selection in regards to 123 brackets is to purchase a tilting mount that it perfectly suited for any LCD TV which is situated closer to the ceiling of the room and it permits you to look upwards at the TV and also provides you the ability to tilt the screen in a downward direction to help improve the viewing angle of the screen.Another piece of advice would be to mount the bracket to a solid wall.tv wall mounts can be fitted to make efficient use of space in any room
